Fishing Krill and Antarctic's relation

This article deals with causes of decreasing of krill, negative results and importance of krill in Antarctic. Factors of decreasing of krill are global warming and fishing krill. Global warming makes Antarctic ice melt and it destroys their habitats. Also there are many negative results. For example, decreasing of krill that can remove carbon dioxide make an increase of carbon dioxide.

It looks like little problem that krill is decreasing. But, it makes many problem; especially, it damages our ecosystem. So, we should know the cause of decreasing of krill and try to solve our problem.

The first reason is global warming. There are many reasons for global warming. but industrialization is the biggest factor that increases the carbon dioxide. Increasing of carbon dioxide makes warming air and it makes Antarctic ice melt. So krill loses their habitat, because ice is not only their hometown but also their habitat. Also as ice melts, krill faces a problem raising their young.

The second reason is intensive fishing. Krill is very useful to the ecosystem and to humans because they are used in fish feed, human dietary supplements, soybean sauce flavoring, and pharmacy. So they are in increasing demand now for these reasons. Therefore, people are fishing krill commercially. Finally, people's avarice makes not only decreasing of the number of krill but also threatens balance of ecosystem.

Through this article, we can see the importance of krill, so we should protect them. First of all, the way to protect krill is establishing the policy. But, it is a global problem, so it is very important to participate with other nations. But the problem can't be solved by only policy. As we can learn from the tragedy of the common, it is also important that people endeavor to protect the environment.

Krill is important to keep the balance of the ecosystem. But nowadays, global warming and intensive fishing threaten krill's survival. So we have to solve this problem and try to protect them. These are global policy and people's endeavor ot protect environment.
